Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
